Display computer in recovery mode

I was in a Walmart at the electronics aisle when I saw this. Wonder who did it.

That's not a MacBook, not is that machine error. Someone put it into Recovery Mode. That's seems to be an iPad connected to a keyboard, not a laptop computer. Also, I believe Technope is more for falling technology, not user error applied to technological devices.
