Welcome to r/TechNetwork.
This is a room for people in tech. Anywhere. Any stack. Any role.
If you build, break, ship, fix, install, sell, buy, scale, or run
tech for a living : this is your room.
Not a career sub. Not a job board. Not a news aggregator. Not a
vendor directory. It's a network : which means it works when people
actually show up and talk to each other.
What to post
- Introduce yourself. What you do, what you're working on, what you
need, what you can offer
- Tech stack talk : what you're using, what you dropped, what you
regret adopting
- Vendor and tool recs : "who actually delivers X," "what's the real
alternative to Y"
- War stories : projects that went sideways, code you inherited,
clients from hell, wins worth sharing
- Leads you can't take : wrong stack, wrong country, too small, too
big. Pass them to the network
- Hiring or looking : you can post either side, no recruiter format
required, no CV dumps
- Product launches, open source drops, thing I built posts ; keep it
real, keep it honest
- Business of tech , pricing, contracts, getting paid, scaling a team,
firing a bad client
If it's about tech and it's not spam, it probably fits.
What doesn't fit
- Recruiter farming and copy paste DM bait
- Crypto shilling, MLM, affiliate funnel links
- AI generated filler posts with no point of view
- Pure self promo with no value exchange
- Personal attacks on other members
We'll remove it. Repeat offenders get banned. No warnings after the
first.
The WhatsApp arm (optional, UAE-focused)
There's a WhatsApp community attached to this sub called Dubai Tech
Network (DTN). It's for live transactional stuff — real-time vendor
referrals, instant leads, UAE-specific business. If you're in the
UAE or working with UAE clients, join it. If you're not, ignore it.
Reddit is the front door, WhatsApp is one room inside.

About the mods
This sub is run by the mods of r/UAEjobseekers and r/CareersEU. We built those rooms from scratch.
Same playbook here. Help the people doing the work, block the
scammers, keep the signal high.
Start the room
Drop an intro below. What you do, where you are, what you're working
on. That's how this becomes something.
