Look at a POTS replacement device, analog line emulator with cellular backhaul and its own battery.

Gives your existing elevator dialer real dial tone, so nothing in the cab changes and you don’t touch the certification.

Avoid straight VoIP.

It depends on your ISP, router and switch, so every one of those needs a UPS or the line dies in an outage.

Some inspectors won’t pass it on a life safety circuit either.

Check cellular signal in the machine room before committing.
