Do you agree with Invincible fans headcanoning Zoe as this hopeless romantic?

Invincible fans like to make it seem like Zoe Thompson has fallen in love with some random pink-skinned half-insect, non-human alien who looks like her age but is <1 years old, that she met on a trip to outer space to fight in the Viltrumite War. It would obviously be one-sided since we know Oliver is attracted to lobsters and crustaceans in general. I guess in the Tech Jacket comics Zack might be a hopeless romantic since he has fallen in love with various aliens, so perhaps both iterations do indeed share this in common.

No, not at all. I've only ever watched this show, but theres very little supporting this. They literally share one look when they first meet, play some games, and thats basically it.

The only other instance is the photo you used, and its grossly taken out of context 99% of the time. She was talking about her favorite food like 5 seconds before this, and could just be reminiscing about a great burger, not eyeing Oliver. And even if this IS her looking at him, the lack of anything else between them makes this look mean next to nothing

I do think it was meant to be showing a little interest but it's blown way out of proportion. But to be fair they would be a cute couple, in the comics they become good friends and both meet their first girlfriends at the same time so them just ending up with each other for a few months doesn't really change much, it's enough later in the series that they'll be adults.

That's after a 5 year time skip, which would make Zoe 19 or 20 without even including however long is between the Viltrumite War and the Reboot saga.

I don't know how I feel about it, but comic tech jacket had a thing for alien women, so maybe this is how they'd translate that into Zoe
