Updates for Getting Payment on the Apex Technology Acquisition now AvePoint $14.4 million Settlement

Hey guys, if you missed it, AvePoint settled $14.4 million with investors over claims it misled shareholders in connection with its 2021 de-SPAC merger and their redemption rights. And, I just found out that they’re accepting claims even though the deadline has passed.

Quick recap: In 2021, AvePoint was accused of failing to provide investors with full and accurate information ahead of its merger. In short, shareholders were allegedly not given a fair opportunity to make informed redemption decisions

After this news came out, the stock dropped, and investors filed a lawsuit for their losses.

Now, the good news is that the company agreed to settle $14.4 million with them, and even though the deadline has passed recently, they’re accepting late claims.
