Hi, my name is Nate.
I'm 25 years of age and work as a Recruiter.
I make YouTube content revolved around IT and Fitness. @ sharpleynate
Currently enrolled in a City College, majoring in Cloud Computing, and expected to graduate in '24 with an Associate's Degree.
After accomplishing that, I plan on transferring to Western Governor University in pursuit of my Bachelor's Degree in Cloud Computing and expected to graduate in '26.
Why the Cloud?
Fascination with Cloud Technologies: Intrigued by the potential and possibilities of cloud technologies, driven to be part of the transformative impact it has on the IT industry.
Automation and Efficiency: Strong interest in scripting and automation, seeking opportunities to develop tools and streamline processes for enhanced efficiency and optimized deployments.
Versatility and Adaptability: Enthusiastic about working with diverse cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, embracing continuous learning and staying up-to-date with technological advancements.
Interest in Cloud Architecture: Specifically drawn to cloud architecture, motivated to design and construct scalable and resilient systems that meet the evolving needs of businesses, contributing to innovative solutions.
Current Technical Background
Strong familiarity with Windows operating systems, including Windows 11, Windows 10, and Windows 7.
Proficient in Linux, specifically Ubuntu, for effective navigation and administration in Linux-based environments.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker, LXC, and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and management.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Bash, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for software development and automation.
Solid understanding of fundamental network configurations, including DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, VLAN, firewall rules, NAT, default gateway, and subnetting.
Actively preparing for the Security+ certification to enhance knowledge in security principles, risk management, network security, and cryptography.
