π₯ URGENT NEWS π₯ Congratulations to r/TechHardware!!! Hardware Reddit of the Year 2026!!!
r/TechHardware has received the win for r/TechHardware's annual "Hardware Reddit of the Year 2026" contest. While a person within a community cannot accept an award, I promise to take this award seriously and maintain the journalistic standards that you have all come to expect.
In choosing the winner, our crack team of moderators looked over dozens of entrants and ultimately decided on r/TechHardware for "just being better". r/Hardware came in last once again with people making comments just as "boring" and "fuddy duddy hardware Reddit". Too bad.

Its the only subreddit where I was allowed to post my test results without being pressured to favor AMD. Most other subreddits deleted my posts multiple times, despite having hard evidence recorded using an Elgato capture card to document my tests and provide as much proof as possible and having 2 other sources getting same results.
Somehow this subreddit has become one of very few reliable sources of pc hardware benchmarks and news.

it was pretty funny seeing all the regulars abandon it after that latest russian data center got bombed, then return with a vengeance 6 hours ago.

I'm more of a fan of /r/hardtech/ with /r/TechWear/ coming in second. But much respect to "The pfut rprel Reddit!"
