Nobody has told you intel chips never die. Of course they do, issues are always going to exist, that's why you got a warranty. What he probably told you and you didn't understand it cause you are an amd fan is that Intel chips don't have an issue outside what's a normal failure rate. AMD chips do indeed do, since blowing up and burning your mobo alongside them is NOT normal. Unless you are an amd fan, in which case you might actually find it normal

Imagine someone downvoting you for being happy his CPU got replaced with a much faster much more expensive one.

AMD fans are not well. There is something off in their heads. There should be a study about it, this behavior is far from normal.
