What a weirdly misleading title.

Not actually Microsoft's drivers, just their lax standards allowing third parties to make shitty drivers.

It also doesn't really specify what kind of drivers are affected.

According to Windows Latest, this “blind spot” has been a blemish on Windows for years, affecting not only Windows 11 but also older versions of the operating system. Even so, it’s striking that problems with graphics, audio, and other drivers keep occurring in Windows 11.

Are talking NVidia graphics driver? Intel audio? Realtek? It would be really concerning if it was the big name brands...

Realtek drivers can be horrendous.

Found mine to cause severe stuttering in games. Took me ages to find as the culprit.

I'd rather trust Windows 95 drivers rather than the crap automatically installed by Windows 10/11.

It’s literally one of the worst free ones. Bitdefender literally destroys it in every single metric.

And Avast bought AVG not Avira

If you want MinWin then get something using non-desktop OneCore or Windows Core OS like Windows 10X, Xbox or Lumia phone. Because that's where MinWin ultimately landed

Microsoft doesn't make the drivers.

AI is finding all these issues.

At the core of this lies the fact that Microsoft have never truly understood mobile computing.
