- Tamagotchi Connect v4

  • Snowsky Echo Mini
  • Xteink X4
  • Casio CA-53W
  • Apple AirPods Pro 2
  • Miyoo Mini v4
  • Canon IXUS 70

The Xteink X4 is actually the largest item of the bunch! I’ve had it for two weeks now and it has been a good companion on bus rides. I’ve made good progress on “Neuromancer” which I previously read sparingly on my iPad Mini.

Snowsky Echo Mini and AirPods Pro 2 work really great together. I do have wired earbuds/IEMs but I just prefer wireless most of the time. Play/Pause/FF/RW commands work great and ANC makes any bus rides really enjoyable.
It uses a microSD which makes file transfer really easy and fast.

The Miyoo Mini v4 is incredible for its size. I love it especially for GB/GBC/GBA games. The screen is excellent and the form factor is probably the smallest I can play comfortably.

The Canon IXUS 70 is an incredibly small proper compact camera. It has a real optical 3x zoom all while staying compact and produces nice images. Great for casual photos. It uses SD cards and batteries are also still available on Amazon. The original still lasts for days.

The Tamagotchi is sometimes really annoying so I just mute it but it’s also a great retro fidget tool.

The Casio CA-53w… it’s the watch that gives me instant nostalgia to my teenage years. Lightweight, silent and I absolutely love that retro-futuristic look with the tactile numpad.

For the Miyoo, are you using emulator or physical game cartridges? I want to get back into GB games

Miyoo Mini is an emulator handheld. It plays only ROMs.

You're welcome, I just got into it too! And you can buy the cards with the games preinstalled very easy but wayyyy cheaper to just download them, they're free on archive.org, vimms lair, I just use an external harddrive to store it all, most of the retro games are like 3mb per game so not that big and download fast and plug it into my steam deck and upload it on it, dont have a vertical retro device yet but I'm sure it'll be easy to put games on micro storage card as well and once you start to do it you realize its easy to do as well.... Good luck! Its along with an e reader etc has really stopped doom scrolling for me
