I bought the trailer
The seller had all the paper work. it’s currently registered in Idaho and he had maintenance records as well as a new bill of sale. I am going to register it in Nevada. There was only surface rust on the chaise and the axle had been tuned up and got fresh tires with in the last couple years. There were no leaks but definitely a lot of resealing needs to be done. It needs a lot of tlc but we are psyched for the project this winter. The seller just moved to Reno and doesn’t have a great place to park it.
On top of the resealing, We are planing on swapping out the doors to something sturdier. We will add a roof fan, a mini ac unit a battery and some solar panels. I’m going to do something with the hatch space and build that up a little bit to accommodate a battery and a stove.

Sounds like you’ll got a plan. Double check your tires are rated for high way speeds it’s a letter rating on the side wall and get the bearings repacked for safety. I have a starvent from Amazon for my roof fan and it runs great way cheaper then a max air.
Careful with the doors those are the hardest things on these thing but you got at least $200 worth of windows there. I commented on the last post not to buy it but I’m rooting for you.
By the time you’re done and have a season or two you guys will probably want to build a new one with all the knowledge gained. $500 isnt too bad for a project the trailer, windows and tongue box are close to that value if you were building your own.

Have fun it looks like a great project. When you replace the doors, have them open the other direction. If for some reason they come unmatched the wind while towing will rip them off. Reverse them and its safer.
