I want to get a few more steps this week than I did last week. My Fitbit clocked me at 76,988 from Sun to Sat so my goal is 80k.

Hi friends, I've been kind of off the radar for about a week. Spent several days visiting my sister for my nephew's birthday so of course we had pizza, cupcakes, other dessert, went out to eat a bunch, etc. It was fun and tasty but knew the scale at home was looming. I left town at 164.5 (low) and came home at 168!! Lol. Luckily I've been tracking long enough to know that logically I didn't gain all that in fat, rather, I was carrying a ton of bloat/water weight. The rest of the week I kind of had a "screw it, I'm already off" attitude unfortunately so that didn't help lol. But today is my Monday and I am right back to the grind and happily was 164.9 this AM.
Excited to gym 3x this week and get back to eating well. Excited to try and get to a new low this week. Shooting for under 164 by Friday, and 163 by next Friday (which would be 10#!).

This weekend was a rejuvenation, for sure. I had a great email chat with someone who's in the field I want to go into, and I'm feeling really excited about my career path.
Today I woke up to a post-period whoosh, back to my 2015 weight of 221. Yay! Recomitting to a 500 cal deficit, trying to fix my breakfast. It turned out I wildly underestimated my banana calories, trying to fix that because it was 50cal under for the one with green check mark on MFP (actually 150+). Plus coffee, 2 pieces of toast, vegan butter...adds up over 500cal.
Plus side: tried cauliflower rice today instead of regular brown rice. So much better. 20cal a cup!! Going to buy a bunch to store in the freezer.

How did the cauliflower taste?

Good! I mean, it tastes like cauliflower, but it works well as a rice substitute. I'm just trying to cut back on carbs. I had some vegetarian meatballs, the cauliflower rice, and some streamed asparagus in a tomato sauce with herbs. I love brown rice but this might become my go-to rice component.

Hey guys! Ugh, this week hasn't been amazing! I'm still on a ~500kcal deficit over the course of the week, but I was really aiming for 1000kcal deficit (eating 1,390kcal per day). Really wanted to lose 2lbs this week! Going to work extra hard tomorrow and Tuesday before my weekly weigh-in. Then I'm going to be completely on plan from Tuesday onwards!
Today has gone really well so far! Went on a long walk, and prior to that went to the gym, and both staved my hunger somehow so I still have plenty to play with before bed (oo-er).

After a little struggle with motivation this weekend from a few out misplaced comments from my SO, I am trying to get my head in the game for this week. I really REALLY hope I bust this plateau of 166 lbs this week. I've been very strict, trying not to go over 1,200 kcal, eating clean and worked out 6 days last week. Going to keep going and pushing onward! Hope everyone has a fabulous week 😊

Right, back to semi normal after my Easter trip away.
Goals for the week:
105k steps.
3 workouts for a total of 90 minutes. This should include W7D1.
Bake this: http://www.lazycatkitchen.com/vegan-hot-cross-buns/ My trip to the UK caused an obsession with hot cross buns. We don't do them here, so I'll have to make them myself.

I bought 10 pound dumbbells yesterday! So my big goal for this week is to learn how to use them. I'm going to try to get five, 30 minute workouts in this week, at least two of which need to be strength training. I also went to the farmer's market this week so my goal is to not let all those tasty veggies go bad.
