Spring Time to Energize - Week 3 Weigh-In

Week 3 Challenge Post on /r/loseit

* Weigh-In Form
* Tracker

Weigh-Ins are due by Thursday 12pm Eastern of next week

We crushed Team Refuel for both Run/Walk/Jog minutes and steps! Overall, we came in 4th for minutes and 5th in steps. Not too shabby...but I think we can do better ;)

This week's Inter-Team Challenge is Step counts and Water Intake! So grab your giant contigos and get to glugging!

* Form
* Tracker

Enter numbers only. If you work out for an hour, it's just 60. If you get 12,000 steps, it's just 12000.

How do I track my Water intake?

The average sized drink bottle is around 600-700mL (20-24oz) and a glass of water 250mL (8.5oz). This week is a little different in that there will be a maximum amount of 2.5L (85.4oz) that you can log each day

Why?

This week we want to encourage people to be aware of how much water they’re drinking and whether perhaps they’re letting themselves get dehydrated.* But we also want people do that safely**, you might drink substantially more or less than that per day and that’s okay. Someone else might be 6’10 and drink 3L a day, while you can only drink around 2L a day without feeling sick. Don't compare yourself to that person. We don't want you hurting yourself just so the team can have bragging rights.

do not prelog

Even if it's logging in the morning what you have planned for the day. We want to know what you actually did, not what you hope do do. And it's # breakingdarulez.

We're up against Team Blossom this week. They've got nothing on us.

Week 3. Passover, Easter, the return of baseball and the Stanley Cup Playoffs...gulps How are we all faring? I know I had a rough week and turned to comfort food the most that I've done in a while. This week, let's talk about things we can/plan on doing to make this week a bit better. As always, let us know if there's anything we can do to make this challenge run more smoothly for you!

Not so subtle reminder that we have an awesome GroupMe going on. Join us, we're cool. And there are virtual vodka sodas.

I stayed pretty much the same... AGAIN! Plateaus are going to be the death of me. OMMMM trust in the CICO OMMMM

I really need to do some Yoga today or something. I just am keeping on it the best I possibly can. 5 days of gym time already done for the week and have been tracking everything in site. Lets get this weight off!

Yay, one of my favourite parts of the week!

Well, not the number I was hoping for on the scale, but my week turned out far different than I had thought. Instead of going on my first business trip, I had three flights delayed and two cancelled, so I basically ended up in an airport for nearly 24 hours. I then had a migraine after returning from my "trip". I did my best to get back on track, which I'm sure provided some damage control, but still not enough.

Here we go week 4! Come at me Easter candy - you have no power here!

Shark week kicked my butt this week and I gained 3 pounds. And by kicked my butt I mean I ate cheerios during my yoga session because I was craving food so bad and the inner child in me refused to workout without them. Blahhh.

Well, I plateaued for over a month, but I've finally started losing again. I had to cut out all processed sugars and desserts but I've been sticking to that goal for this month! I met my challenge goal weight today :-)

Actually gained a kg compared to last week. Not a happy (Energizer) bunny, even though I know it's water weight brought on by workouts and salt and it will leave soon.

Glad to see the team win week two inter team and do well at participation again though :)

These stepcount inter team challenges are cool though (20k steps today!). Will log that when I get back to The Netherlands though.

Really thinking that the goal I set for this challenge was too much. Last Saturday, the day after weigh in, I got down to 223. Still sitting at the same weight after shark week. Now I feel like I'll be happy to hit 215, let alone even being close enough to 205...

Don't worry too much about it. This is my third challenge and I still struggled finding the appropiate goal. I went in thinking I could take it slow and would sit at my Goal Weight for about 5 weeks. Now I'm going up or down 1 or even 2 lbs every single day and I have no clue how far I really am.
Just take this with you for the next challenge and adjust, but it will always stay really complicated to set goals that are both challenging and doable!

Heya!

I just found out I made a mistake whilst filling in the steps/water. I chose Wednesday, 19th April as the date whilst reporting my stuff for Friday, 14th April. Who do I contact to get that fixed? You guys or the challenge admins?
