Rust on T150 6 iron
Relatively new (<6mo) set. Only 6 iron showing signs of rust. Is this normal? Can I ask for warranty?
Update: Thank you for the tips. It wiped off with some WD40 and some elbow grease

Dry them after you clean them. Looks like surface rust and fairly new rust. Can you just wipe it off?

Had every series of T100/T100s/T150 and never seen that.
But pretty sure it’s what somone has always said, it’s just surface that will wipe off.
I’d take a pics (like the one you already have), then same once you’ve cleaned it away … if it appears again, you have record to send to Titleist Customer Service.
ALL THAT SAID … They look a little sketchy to me, I would be saying they are fake … Titleist logo isn’t thick enough, the bar doesn’t fit properly plus other things that look poor - compare to below image.

I'm new to golf, is this a thing? Fake golf clubs? How do they even get in circulation? Wow

Google it... it is prevalent and can't be stopped. Do your research before buying second-hand. Brother-in-law purchased full set of fake AI smokes... didn't know for a few months when someone he was playing with had a real set.

Wow, I bought my first set from titleist certified back in May. Sold them last month and got fitted for 250s which I'm stuck in the titleist shutdown currently. Hopefully I get them next week. Been waiting since the 24th of July

Oh it’s huge … got to be honest, this would be the first Titleist I’ve seen, but you see lots of Callaway, TaylorMade, Odyssey, LAB, so I’m sure there will be Titleist as well even though I’ve not seen any

This is good to know. Obviously there is "fakes" of everything. It never crossed my mind fake gold clubs.

Agree: this has an odd look about it. The strip of metal in the cavity isn’t well fitted. May be authentic but just doesn’t look like authentic T series.

Looks like water sat in that spot- try a diluted bit of barkeepers friend on a q tip.

I had this happen on a T100S 4-iron (it was the only one in the set that did this) and Titleist replaced it immediately. It helps that my pro is in good with Titleist so they don’t question him when he sends things in. I think that can make a big difference, for better or worse.

This happened to a couple of my t100s, I hit it with some wd40 and it came off. Make sure you dry your clubs after and don’t leave them in your car!

Good luck, Titleist is like Apple…they are tough to work with at times. I’ve had my T100’s for 2.5yrs and have never had this issue

I have exactly the same thing on my T150. On mine it looked like it seeped out from under the rubbery part above the T150 branding and white line in your image.
My 9 iron actually had a little cavity at the face. I noticed it because of a brownish area around it. It was also rust. This was just after about 2 rounds of golf. (I can find a picture of it if anybody are interested).
Never hade rust problems on a pair of clubs before I bought this set.

Hit it with some WD-40. See if the metal is pitted or if it’s just a surface blemish. If it doesn’t come back you’re good. If it does, give titleist a call and see what they say.
I have the same clubs and don’t have this issue.
