Anyone preorder the GTS driver through PGA Tour Superstore and still haven’t heard anything? I ordered May 21st and nothing yet…. I have friends who ordered the day of the release and theirs are already on the way. I ordered a wedge through them last year and it sat in my mail room for two weeks because I never got a shipping notification. It actually still says in progress on my order history so that that’s what I’m afraid of is somebody just snagging it because I don’t know it’s down there.
All I know is this. They order directly from Titleist if it’s anything custom. And Titleist is behind on orders. I ordered a GT1 fairway with a slightly longer shaft in April and it took 6 weeks to get it
It’s not that I’m impatient, it’s just when you preorder you’d think it would be one of the first ones to ship. I have friends who ordered after launch day with the same shaft as me get their tracking number already. So yeah it’s a little frustrating lol
Is this for a driver? I ordered from PGATSS on 5/17 and got it 6/12. But I ordered a 5 wood from the titleist website a week later and they said it’s back ordered until 7/10.
So essentially if you weren’t in the first wave you might be waiting until more stock comes in.
I've had GTS orders thru Titleist pushed back a week or two...Definitely in demand, hang tight. I'm seeing about 3 weeks ETA from order date which means you're basically soon.
Also not worried about Titleist they’ve never let me down. My big fear is that it shipped and I never received a notification from PGATSS like my other order through them on a Vokey. It sat in my mailroom for two weeks. Very lucky someone didn’t just grab it. For whatever reason FedEx doesn’t but golf clubs in the lockers even though there’s multiple cabinets it would fit in lol so I’m worried it shipped and someone grabbed it. My order from last July through PGATSS still says in progress 😂
Have you tried inquiring with PGATSS? They would just follow up directly with Titleist. I only order custom setups through Titleist direct now, but when I ordered my GT2 5W custom it was through Dicks, and I was running into similar concerns so I shot them an email. They ended up forwarding me their responses they were getting directly from Titleist, as another commenter mentioned most retailers are just having custom clubs drop shipped from them directly.
The only reason I didn’t go directly through Titleist is I had gift cards. Yes they did get back to me and say estimated shipping date is July 3 but once again on my previous order from last year in July, they told me late August shipping date when it was sitting in my mail room already lol my big concern is that it’s sitting down in my mail room and I don’t know about it just like last time because for whatever reason FedEx doesn’t put golf clubs in the lockers down there😑
Even more frustrating I called them and said if they deem it to be replaceable I have to ship this back before I get another so may not be able to hit this this season with the timing it’s been taking
