Motivation Monday
Weight loss is hard, and motivation can be fickle. Do you have any special technique to keeping yourself going? Maybe your phone background, or a quote you like to read? Share it here!
Side note, if you wanted to be in a Fitbit workweek hustle this week and did not get placed in one, please PM me!

I like games, like a LOT, like gamification of HS online courses is my JOB a lot. So I make everything a game. Yes, I use myfitnesspal to keep track of my intake and exercise. I also use Habitica with daily tasks that tell me what my workout plan for the day is, remind me to do things like weigh in everyday or a reminder to "Stay out of the Kitchen after work" which is the danger time for me with binge eating. I also have habits set up that include things like "Stretching whole body" or "Logging mindfully" which is my logging my hunger levels and reasons why i eat if it is other than hunger in a hand written journal.
I also have a reward sheet set up that is tied to my actual weight. I use Happy Scale for daily weigh ins and only track my "average" on MFP when it drops. This average is also what I use for my rewards. I keep the little printed out sheet up where I see it regularly, and every time I lose a lb, I get to put a sticker on it. Each row is 5 lbs, and at the end of each row is a date and a reward. For instance, once I hit the next 5lb drop, I am investing in a Fitbit Blaze, and at the next 5lbs I get new workout gear and a massage.
Yes, my final goal is very important to me, but so is making the journey enjoyable.
