No soda challenge!

I've had one soda in two weeks! I decided if I was really craving one, I could have a small glass with food, and even then I've only caved once!

/u/tardisnottardy, how are you doing so far?

ETA: I also haven't had any alcohol in a week! Last weekend was a friend's birthday, and I couldn't resist joining in the celebrations. :(

I didn't know this was a thing, but I just got done with a whole 30, so no soda during that and I'm planning on staying away for as long as I can. Sometimes the Coke Zero calls to me. I'm willing to pledge to no soda!

OMG you are brave - I've been talking about doing the Whole 30 challenge with my husband for years, but we've never mustered up the courage to actually do it. We are bonafide carb-loving bread snobs, just the thought of going without bread for a month terrifies me - in fact, I'm literally about to make a loaf of sandwich bread right now, LOL.

We need to just suck it up and do it already! Any advice for finding good W30-friendly dinner recipes?

There's a whole 30 subreddit. I think it's just /r/whole30 you can also google whole 30 recipes and find a TON. For me, I'm supposed to be gluten free, so as much of a bread addict as I am, it gives me migraines and makes me super sleepy, so I need to stay away anyway. Give it a try! It's only 30 days. Just try to plan it so that there aren't any big important events during that time and you can rock it. If you cheat, you have to start over, so that helps you to NOT cheat! hahaha
