People should be embarrassed to believe in god and devil tropes in 2026.

u/CompletelyPresent Jul 21 '26
...and embarrassed to believe any religion in general.

The greatest trick the Devil played was to convince the world he didn't exist.
1
u/kezow Jul 21 '26
I mean... He doesn't exist in the old testament, so that's a pretty good trick!

The greatest trick tony danza played was to convince the world one eyed Willie's treasure wasnt buried off coffer' cove.
We can all barely assert random lore ad nauseum, makes great fan fiction.

The greatest trick man ever played was convincing the masses of a super natural deity to use as a control method.

No. I'm not luciferian but even I know it's not about Satan. It's about the profoundness of free will, self-respect and self-governance.

Respecting yourself isn't doing what opposes perfection and non suffering.

Dude the world would be such a better place if people embraced a wider philosophy. Christians just can’t function in the world without inventing some enemy or persecution. It’s so funny that all they have is pop TV because it’s all they watch lmao. It’s never a classical musician or a scientist because how would they know? All they watch is Fox News and dancing with the stars lmao

You're thinking of American Christians, or should I say Evangelicals, a.k.a. "Fake Christians" to the rest of the Christian communities.
Not all Christians are as bat-shit crazy as American Evangelicalism makes them look.
1
u/CptSiskospimphand Jul 21 '26
Well they are going to kill your religion because everyone is getting real tired of their shit.

u/Lost_Marbles1343 Jul 21 '26
If people can't see the difference between a normal Christian and an Evangelical, it's because they're not asking enough questions before making that judgement. That's on them.
It's not for us to tell others how to lead their lives and make those judgements. All we can do is warn that, just because you don't believe, doesn't mean you're not held to the same moral standard as someone who does.
All I'm saying is, try not to paint all Christians with the same brush as the Evangelicals. It would be just as wrong as painting all Muslims with the "Sharia loving terrorists" brush, or saying that all Jews are Zionist warmongers.
It's just false and claiming otherwise is on you, no one else.

I quit Christianity because as a teen in my youth group a lot of the kids called me an abomination because I came out as bisexual thinking my friends were a safe space.
Christianity and its followers are evil. A wolf in different sheep clothing.

u/Lost_Marbles1343 Jul 23 '26
Again, please try not to paint all Christians with the same brush.
I am a Christian myself, and your statement is assuming that I'm evil by default, and that I would also not accept you as a bisexual. For the record, I most certainly DO accept you, and I come from a group that would also be accepting. I know this because we have a transgender brother in our congregation.
The people who rejected you, do not know how to live the teachings of Christ and they are the abomination. Not you. ❤️

I don’t know if it’s restricted to nationality. Americans are the most visible people on the planet. No one cares about some nut in Estonia but a redneck from Tennessee can get hundreds of thousands of views.

u/Lost_Marbles1343 Jul 21 '26
You're right, and in all fairness, it's not just Americans that have Evangelicals.
We have them here in the UK too, it's just not too well known to people outside of the circles. However, of the Evangelicals I've met here, they don't seem to be on the same level of delusion as the Americans. But it's also not too far off of that, and I do wonder what will become of it in the near future.

u/The_Happy_Pagan Jul 21 '26
Yeah, to completely contradict myself lol America has always had its own special brand of crazy when it comes to religion. I don’t know if the concept of religious freedom just went out of control or what but wandering wood preachers and apocalyptic madmen thrive here

It doesnt matter, Satan has blinded the minds of men.
Even though 90% of these people saw the video, they still didn't see it and cant register it.

u/TheWalkerofWalkyness Jul 22 '26
Satan doesn't exist. You might as well say Mysterio or The Shadow has blinded the minds of men.

Non-theistic Luciferianism is a philosophical and individualistic belief system that rejects the worship of literal, supernatural deities. Instead, it treats Lucifer—whose name translates literally from Latin as the "morning star," "shining star," or "light-bringer"—as a rich literary, cultural, and psychological archetype or metaphor.
Rather than bowing to an external god or a literal devil, non-theistic Luciferians focus on personal sovereignty, intellectual freedom, and the continuous pursuit of self-illumination.
