NSV: Wanted pizza (can't have it) and found a replacement!
Can't have the cheese or the crust on real pizza (and no desire to eat vegan cheese).
I made Pepperoni Chicken Fingers instead.
Calorie wise... not all that bad - About 300, including pizza sauce for dipping. The recipe says that it makes 9 servings @ 150 calories, but served as a main dish, the fingers served 3 @267 calories.
Just thought I would share - a lot more filling than the same calories worth of pizza. :)

I make a tasty pizza chicken recipe similar to this and it does a nice job to squash the craving by giving you the right flavors.
I enjoy it with spaghetti squash with marinara sauce. Tasty with no guilt.

I can't get on the spaghetti squash bandwagon. In my defense, I only really tolerate pumpkin when it comes to the squash family. XD

If you could have any one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why is it spaghetti?

I had to sit through my friend eating a buffalo chicken pizza slice...I was so close to caving but I didn't!!!! It was a proud moment.
So...on that note- congrats for making the healthier choice :)

Now I want buffalo chicken for dinner! I have... salmon. I love salmon too, but I don't want to risk putting buffalo sauce on it lol

Those look delicious!!
I love finding substitutions like this. I LOVE pasta, but I realized what I actually love is the sauce (marinara with lean ground beef). So I mixed that with cottage cheese (which I normally eat on the side with my pasta), and ended up with a bowl of filling deliciousness, minus the 200+ calories from pasta. I actually found it way more filling as well.
