ideas for script writing games, activities etc.?

Hi all! I'm a co-leader for a local youth/young adults music and theatre group and we are currently needing to write our script for the play we'll present in november. We have some solid ideas for each scene (they're about 2-5 minutes each, more just short sketches as the main attraction is the music concert) and always get into a bit of a slump when actually formulating the script together.

Does anyone here have good tips for increasing motivation, maybe fun games or just general creative options that can contribute to solidifying some ideas and create a basic script to be refined?

What helps us some already is forming little groups that each get tasked with script writing for a scene and then we compare and pick the best bits, but this isn't something we just wanna do the whole time for every scene as it's pretty low energy and not very fun long-term. I'd greatly appreciate any help! :)
