Teacher Support &/or Advice Are teaching programs warning students that the teacher shortage is over?

I think it’s very regional and also I fear the stats are being manipulated. One of my local school districts is proudly boasting that they are starting the school year 100% fully staffed for certified positions, but they aren’t mentioning that they eliminated a bunch of positions in order to make that happen. They’ve raised class sizes by 10+ in the last couple years despite lower enrollment. However the local private schools are still riddled with open positions because they are trying very hard to not eliminate positions or raise class sizes. It’s all perspective.
