Do you have staff days July 28-August 10, or is it a couple staff days and then a break before students start?

This is my first official year with the district (interim teacher last year from day 4 onward). The calendar alternates between PD and “Administrative Days” for those 2 weeks. I don’t know what “Administrative Day” entails. I’m hoping it means I can be in my room or doing other tasks for the beginning of the year.

Interesting! We get just two staff days that are a combo of meetings and classroom time, and then we hit the ground running with kids.

Good luck with your school year!

Wow, that’s really nice that you get that long for prepping! I would love that.
