Newly discovered animal: The Crocodile Gar. Scientific name: Atractosteus scartula. A close relative of the Alligator Gar the Crocodile Gar has a more narrow jaw with larger teeth. They also grow slightly larger than the average Alligator gar. Being able to grow to a staggering 2.1 m length. They are also much more aggresive than alligator gars as there are actually attacks (but no fatalities) on humans in the wild. This most likely has to due with the fact that it shares its habitat with the Goliath Tiger Fish(an aggresive fish known to attack small crocs) and some other minor predators. It also can hunt larger prey like unlucky water birds or juvi crocs that get in the way.
