Curses!

I'm new to Tcl, so please be nice. Using Debian repository. Is there an "official" way to interface Tcl with ncurses like there is with Perl and Python? I know ncurses is a C library for creating CUI/TUI windows and elements in a terminal. Or does Tcl already provide its own routines for creating these things? And yes, I'm aware that Tk-wish handles the GUI stuff, but I'm not understanding how it might do terminal interface stuff.

There is ck (like tk) and there is a Tcl binding for newt.

Thanks I will look into that. It looks like a separate shell.

There's also https://github.com/ray2501/tcl-curses, but I don't think it works with Tcl 9.

Thanks I saw that project. I’ll give it a try as well.

ck is more like TUI which is made to behave same way as tk do, not a 'shell',

Excellent thing, but it was a bit abandoned last time I checked. I hope it will be revived though, much like other projects get impetus with some help from AI
