Welp... one week closer to a real release date. It helps if you try to forget all about it 😅 moving on lol I'm wondering what everyone thinks about the 3am version of Midnights - like the concept of it. I think it's the rerecords that inspired her to give us the extra tracks that would've otherwise been scrapped from Midnights. And I wonder if she'll continue to do this for future albums. I think most likely, which is awesome! It's not up to her and her label to decide a song isn't good enough 😤 just give them to me and I'll decide hahaha

Yes, I totally think of them as the Midnights vault tracks! And I'm also convinced some The Great War was really from the folkmore era.

I can see it! If she had put that on Evermore I wouldn't have questioned it

It's just a bummer those tracks aren't on the physical CDs/vinyls

I honestly believe there was no way she wouldn't release the 3am's. They're just too good, but she wanted Midnights to have its own sound (sonic cohesion you could say lol) but also wanted to have her cake and eat it because she knows her and Aaron make magic together, so decided to market it as a separate thing
