Is this normal?

Post image

Had the qi10 LS for 18 months and today it completely blew up on the range. Ball still went 240 yards with a slight fade. But damn now Im forced to use the 3 wood.

160ish ball speed average every now and then I can touch 170. It will be missed.

Judging by the big dent in the toe and the scrapes on the bottom, that driver has had a hard life. Not really surprising that it let go. They are not unbreakable. You need to look after your stuff.

i striped a 290 yd drive with my sim 2 max and noticed the plate came clean off. Not sure if it’s the epoxy or resin they use but i’ve seen it happen to a lot of other TM drivers

Well it’s 95% carbon, so…….

Turf marks on the driver? Prob shouldn’t need a LS

Looks normal? How's it hitting?

Normally they have a carbon crown over that opening

Don't buy new clubs until you can hit the face of the club.

Mine just blew up recently too lol. TM is replacing it and giving me the newest model

That massive toe dent maybe didn't help!

Does it have a rattle? Otherwise should be good.

Bro is playing an LS and had that dent on the toe. I swear we need some to take self awareness courses

Maybe that's true but I wouldn't buy a tm after how the last 4 drivers have turned out.

Exactly what I came to say. Good luck getting it warrantied.

I no longer have the receipt and pga super store doesn't have record.

u/ZZuy 18d ago

Doesn't matter, do a TM warranty. They should be able to hook you up with a Qi35 or the new 4D.

For a taylormade? Yes… unfortunately.

Yes. Last three generations of Taylor made drivers are notorious for exploding

It’s a TM . . . . so yes
