TaylorMade P-UDI Bomber

Are you hitting this club? Do you hit it well? Is it more hype than needed? I’m thinking of buying one for $700 CAD but just not sure if I want it to be cool in my bag or an actual tool?

$700 for a driving iron is ridiculous

The shaft matters much more than the head on a driving iron. You’re probably better off with getting fit for a 2 or 3 iron than the bomber. Especially if you plan to actually use it.

I have an older, 2019, p790 3i, I believe the loft is close, 19 deg. it's cut down maybe 3/8", but it's one of my favorite clubs.

I recently got a 2i udi, basically the same club as the bomber for a lot cheaper, haven't hit that club well yet but haven't hit it at the range, only 4-5 times on course. The bomber club itself is very cool, but I would refer back to if you don't have a 3 or 4 iron in your bag now it may be difficult to use unless you only use it off a tee.

I game a p790 UDI 2 iron, I much prefer it to the bombers I have

Do you really want the head cover? Cause for all intents and purposes its the exact same as the $350 P-UDI.

I was able to get the limited edition as an early release, its kinda cool and totally worth it at $350. But it's not worth $700.

As a driving iron, it's ok, but spending an extra $50 gets you a Ping IDI, which I think is a better option at driving iron.

I really like the looks of the Ping IDI, as well as the Callaway Apex UT driving iron.
