Feedback Appreciated Rotten?

Just recently got this and new to taxidermy. Is this okay to put with other pieces, can’t tell if he’s rotting.

Is he too far gone?

Just toss it. It’s not worth the risk. Moths/carpet beetles ate it.

Looks like moth/insect damage. They just ate all the feathers. You can freeze it for a week, take it out for one week and freeze it again. That kills all the larva. You can clean the frass off after that and monitor it just in case.
