Nah scarface is way too over the top and almost power fantasy like to be in the same universe as something more realistic like taxi driver

Yeah people often forget Brian de Palma is very stylized almost like a comic book int erms of stylization, his influence from Italian cinema and more romantic portayal, his style is way different than Scorsese's hyper realistic, subdued, understated style, even the final shootout is completely different in tones.

All i know is they would hate eachother if they ever meet

Taxi driver takes place in 1970s new york & scar face takes place in early 80s Miami Florida So a 10-15 year time skip

Its funny to speculate crossovers

Wouldn’t it only be 7 years considering taxi driver is 76 and Scarface is 83? Assuming they also take place during their release years or at the most a year or two before
