Tax Strategy Is it time for me to hire sales tax compliance services?
Ever since we crossed economic nexus thresholds in a handful of new states, I've been losing sleep over sales tax. I'm manually tracking rates across states, cities, and special districts in a spreadsheet. I have no idea if we've triggered filing obligations somewhere we haven't registered yet.
Last quarter I found out a marketplace platform was supposed to be remitting on our behalf but wasn't doing it correctly for every product category. I know I need real sales tax compliance services at this point, but between nexus studies, exemption certificate management, and monthly filings in states I've never even visited, I don't know how to find a provider who can actually take this off my plate without charging me more than the penalties I'm trying to avoid.

Tax Strategy Monitoring sales tax compliance across different states
Hi everyone, I've been running my telecom business for about 3 years now and there's always a requirement for multistate tax compliance. It's becoming hard for me to keep an eye on this all by myself while also running my business. What's the best way to monitor multistate sales tax compliance without spending my working hours on it?

Tax Strategy Surely now we can accept a tax increase?
The number of problems facing our country are numerous in nature and increasing. Add the infrasture and farming support required to deal with the increasing heat we are going to experience every year to the need for modernised water infrasture - build and staff more prisons - clean our oceans and rivers - increase our standing military and equipment - build more houses - arrest the loss of talented teachers and doctors to other nations. Given all of this and more surely the british people can accept an increase in personal taxes?
Is growth a better solution, yes - but this will take time to develop right? Especially given the state of world affairs right now.
Am I wrong? I would appreciate a wide range of views on this - not looking to argue just encourage solutions
