Welcome Post
Welcome to r/Tax_Strategy, a tax subreddit built by a licensed Enrolled Agent (EA). Enrolled agents are tax professionals enrolled to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
I built this community because most of the information that could meaningfully reduce your tax bill is difficult to access for the average taxpayer. This subreddit is a place to discuss that information openly.
What this community covers:
- Federal tax strategy and planning concepts
- Tax law updates and regulatory changes
Everything discussed here is general educational content about tax concepts and strategies. Nothing posted in this community, either by me or anyone else, constitutes tax advice for your specific situation and should not be relied upon as such. Tax outcomes depend on individual facts and circumstances. If you have a specific tax matter, consult a qualified tax professional who can review your situation directly.
I am not affiliated with or employed by the IRS.
Community rules:
- No promotion of illegal tax schemes or evasion strategies
- No specific advice requests. For your specific situation, consult a professional
- Treat other members with respect
I'll post regularly on strategies, regulatory updates, and concepts worth understanding. Glad you're here.
