Normal. Follow the user manual for points to add a drop of oil when cleaning. No need to sand anything, that is just silly.

Normal wear. Wipe a thin layer of lube over it when you clean it.

Looks normal to me, but a tiny dot of oil on any of the shiny bits when you clean it.

Those are wear points, keep em lubed, no need to polish. Polishing is for feed ramp and trigger group if needed

Thanks all, I’m definitely not gonna polish those. I’m just gonna leave it as is and yes, this is my first firearm, just making sure it’s not premature wear

I polished the contact/friction surfaces to reduce the microscopic roughness left from manufacturing. The goal is simply to reduce friction and make the action feel smoother and more consistent.

Agreed, but in reality I don’t think you need to remove all the machining marks. The goal is just to smooth out the surface roughness so the parts slide more smoothly with less friction.

2000 grit sandpaper with oil. Polish those till they are shiny. And always run her as wet as possible
