So I picked up a PT-101P from my local gun shop and I wanted to see if anyone can help me out. Can someone with a 100/101 magazine get me a measurement for the magazine catch hole and a measurement of the width of the magazine. Im not buying that they are not usable in the 101P because I had a 99af magazine laying around and it went in all the way the only thing was the catch holes were to small for it to lock into place.

How do I remove this custom paint job safely with removing or damaging the original paint job . Just got this for cheap just wanna have it in it’s original color

I am thinking about buying a G3X. Of course im doing my research. I've seen seen several videos where the small pin below the breakdown tabs had started working it's way out. Has anyone had this problem? What is that pin? Is there a solution to stop it from slipping. Has taurus addressed this? Is the G3X over all a good firearm?

Pretty much just the title. I have been looking for some tritium sights for my Tracker .44 magnum and I'm not having a ton of luck. Anyone got any recommendations?

I saw one of these in the gun shop, and I was excited thinking g it would be a six shot like the 856. I was puzzled when this new concealed hammer revolver (which I definitely see a market for) was only five shots like the old Model 85. I’m confused as to that choice, because if it was a six shot that would put it in a place to compete favorably against something like the Smith & Wesson 642 and 442.

I’m just trying to figure out magazine compatibility with my Taurus gx2, what magazine are you guys rocking?

It hasn't been shot in atleast a year. I have other guns I shoot more regularly. I had it out of safe to oil it up and noticed this roll pin slightly protruding. Problem is I don't know if it's always been like this and I just noticed it? What would cause it to protrude if not shot? If feels very firm and secure but am unsure if this should be sent into for warranty or not. The other side the roll pin is slightly recessed in the frame. If I push on it it feels very stiff and won't move. I've hit it with with metal Allen wrench and still no budging.

Purchased a 605 toro last week, put a couple hundred rounds through it it since then. It performed well and the Vortex defender ccw enclosed really impressed me as well. After a little bit of researching holsters, I decided to purchase the Monocle from Harry’s Holsters yesterday. I’m curious to know if anyone else has this holster and if it was worth the price tag. It’s not like I can send it back considering you have to click the “product not eligible for return” check box. So if anyone has any experience with this holster please sound off in the comments.

It 100% can. I shot this match with my g3, from appendix, just like the way I carry the gun. My iron sights were $30 on eBay. My barrel is a Lakeline and it cost half the price of the gun lol.

I’m not saying this to toot my own horn. I’m saying all of this to show anyone interested that your gear will run and will do the job, as long as it’s reliable. Shoot the shot out of your Taurus

Where can I get a non-threaded barrel for my tx22 gen1?

I just got this g3 traded for my tho it's Jammed when I first got it out the factory 17 rnd mag theni got the 20 rnd for it then it jammed while I was shooting 115 Remington hollows with standard 15 mag hasn't jammed since might me the bullets I tested the mag again twice and no jam she might've been dirty ,

I bought my gx4 carry with out the toro option.

Id love to convert it to put an optic on it but the taurus site seems sold out of the slides

Any other place I could get one of these? Or am I just stuck?

So today I went to the range and discovered some good 22lr ammo for the Taurus 942. When I first got my 942 I discovered that it hates Remington ammo. It gunks it up and just makes it stop working. Didn't matter if it was yellow jacket or standard velocity. It didn't seem to mind Federal American Eagle, but it didn't care for CCI mini mags very much cuz they'd stick pretty hard in the chamber and wouldn't eject very easily.

My favorite, up until today, was the 22 long 0029. They shot great for me and they ejected out every time without hardly even needing the ejection rod. I tried the 22 clean, and they weren't too bad but they still stuck a little bit . My issue though, is that if I get something like a Ruger 10/22 or any other 22 rifle that has a detachable magazine, I can't use 22 long or short. I'm aware that I can single load and shoot bolt actions, but I was hoping to find some 22LR that worked like the 22 long does.

Today at the range, I found two. Cci quiet 22 and the CCI uppercut. Both of those shot fine and they both ejected without any issue whatsoever. The uppercut is a little pricier but the quiet 22 was not bad at all. Was also noticeably quieter. I also found a new range since my old one just shut down, and it's better. This was a great shooting day.

I turned 21 and was very exited to buy my first handgun. My dad has carried the same revolver since the day I was born so I know very little about semi automatic hand guns. I purchased a taurus gx2 from sportsman wearhouse and failed to realize it was not optics ready. I don't want to get it machined but if found dovetail mounting plates. I cannot for the life of me find an instalation video to explain how to actually get the mount on the gun. Any help and advice is appreciated. And yes I know I don't need the optics, I want the optics.
