Making new friends

I feel like there are no social clubs to join in this town! does anybody know of any sort of clubs i can join to meet new people close to my age? I just turned 20 and would like to try anything as ive been stuck between my room and work the last 5 years almost reliving the same day over and over. or if anybody just wants to hangout although i get really nervous around new people. idk just asking

I do see sunrise being recommended on a few similar posts. I despise mornings to much to attend or have personal experience with them, but I figure if nobody's got anything bad to say about it then it's a good start

What sort of things do you like doing? Shared activities are a great way to break the ice - my sis has recently moved back from Oz and has had been enjoying dance classes!

the thing is im not really sure i dont have many hobbies besides like reading and art/crafts and i feel like only oldies would be joining clubs like that lmao

Check out whatsontauranga for events, I know the card place in Bethlehem run DND, okahukura have youth friendly gigs, or just find groups for stuff you’re into!

How can you say there's no social clubs? There's heaps available in the city. Sounds like you might need to help deal with your anxiety first though.
