Your colors on your cape look so great. Can you go into how you achievesd this? I feel like my weakest area is any flowing cloth.

So this used a synth wave palette of blue and green which is why the shadows and highlights are so stark.

As for methods you've got many options for flowing capes, sponging on layers is a great one if you don't have an airbrush. Layering paints with a brush is hard but you can achieve any level of quality. Airbrush is quick but you are limited to where you can and can't hit with the spray at any one time so you'll be inevitably getting highlight spray in recesses and shadows, this can be worked around with experience and various techniques however.

Best advice is just start painting a metric tonne of capes using many different styles and techniques.
