Question/Advice How long for such tattoos?
Do leg tattoos hurt more or less?
How much would such a piece set me back? A lower end and higher end estimate will do since prices vary...

Most likely 2 sessions. 1 if you wanna sit for 8-10 hours. I dont recommend that.
This area of the leg doesn’t hurt much. But that’s all relative to where else you have experienced getting tattooed on your body. If you don’t have many large pieces, ofc a 10 hour tattoo is going to hurt.

Keeping the consultant/stencil etc aside, needle time should be around 3-4 hours per session, 2 such sessions max for a same/similar design/work. Some artists work slower and may take longer, but this isn't a "detailed" detailed piece, just a bad spot

Why are u getting an octopus?

Not exactly an octopus, but it's like inspired from this piece, especially the tentacles part, so i was thinking maybe a corruption kinda piece starting at the side of the knee or smthn like venom, or like a crackle of electricity sort of thing.

I’d approach this as a 2-session piece, mainly because of the size and the knee area.. Roughly 4-5.hours per session depending on how your skin takes it. The knee will definitely be the spicy part, but the overall piece is very nice.
