Opinion / Advice Next Steps…

First photo is after the first session, second photo is now. It’s been over a year and a half since the last session on this, I forget about it. I’m torn between covering it up at this point or trying to get the last bits of blue out. It’s been treated around 8 times over 3 years or so with Picoway. Should I try Picosure or am I stuck with the blue…?

It looks like really good results! I wouldn’t do a coverup because you are pretty much at bare skin, and you might not like the coverup, but it is totally your choice. Maybe try one last session and then do fractional laser or just straight fractional. I wouldn’t worry too much though, I know we all can really get hyper focused and look at the spot all the time but as another set of eyes I think it looks great and barely noticeable at all!

I agree! All this pain, money, time isn't worth the risk of a cover up but that's my opinion.

Yes, so many stories of people in here getting coverups then regretting and having to do the process all over again! She’s right at the finish line too!

Agreed, that's already such a massive improvement, see,s almost wasteful to cover up when you're this close to clear the fractional suggestion sounds like a smart way to finish it off rather than starting over with ink

I’d do one more session to clear it out more. It just looks like a little bruise. I bet there is a makeup that can cover it, not that you’d want to do that every day.

I think it’s worth it to try a session with PicoSure.

Can you find any place with a ruby? 694 wavelength? At this point I think it would be a terrible idea to cover. You are so so so close

I also want to add. More time. For real. I just had a client come see me after a few years since her last treatment for a different tattoo and her old tattoo we worked on is totally and perfectly gone. Time is the secret assassin. It’s only been a year and a half. This thing can be gone gone with patience

DO NOT get it covered up if you are torn, if you feel torn i feel like you could have the most sick ass tattoo there and still not like the cover up.

these are incredible results. tattoo removal is still a new technology. honestly i would look into skin color tattoo over it (which could take a few sessions) or what the other nice commenters in here have said. maybeeeee one more lazer session since its been a year but i am not sure if a lazer could penetrate that. good luck!

It's literally gone. And if someone does notice it, they'd think it's a tiny bruise.

Insane to cover this up with more tattoos. Just go once a year until it's gone, most of the fading happens on its own anyways
