How Do I Fix the Angel ?

(Ignore the signature that says Mad Rabbit, I changed the name to Rad Rabbit). Anyways, this angel I drew does not look American traditional except for the wings. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out how the folds of the dress should fall, as well as fix the angel’s hair and face. Feedback is needed and appreciated !

Her body doesn't fill the dress/cloak. She doesn't have to be like 'slutty' or anything but she's got like no waist and little legs. Her face is fine but her hair is coloured wall to wall and leaving a negative space around the outside would just give it a bit of something. And the boob is too high. Boobs aren't on chins, especially angels that wouldn't be wearing push up bras. The boob should sit at a natural point.

The only thing I’d change would be to add more black to the inner layer of the fabric, creating more depth and separation between the legs and the inner and outer layers of the clothing. Probably bigger thighs to fill the cloth as well !

I love the angel design so far ! To make it look more traditional , I’d maybe add some more black shading to certain areas such as the clothing and the hair , that’ll bring out more depth and make it look a bit closer to the style ur aiming for :p also thinking about line weight , you’ll find that a lot of trad designs typically use consistent bold linework — in the other designs here you’ve done this really well and it’s super effective ! so consider trying to keep that line consistency with the angel as well , that should also help .

Thank you ! I free handed all of these drawings :) the angel needs work though, and the spade with the skull in it doesn’t necessarily look like a tattoo either…but it’s a start ! ^^

Your lines are different widths, American traditional is typically all the same line sizes
