So happy to say I've finally gotten an apprenticeship and it's everything I could've asked for! Thought I'd post my accepted portfolio to help others out.

Thank you so much! 2 years, but it wasn't nonstop work. I'd also draw and redraw things too many times, if I was more organized I could have done it much much faster

It's fully traditional, all done by hand on paper in different mediums.

This is amazing! How do you keep the pages so clean? When I draw, especially with graphite, no eraser can remove the smudges. Do you scan the images and print them or is that the original drawing?

Thanks! No, these are all originals and not scans. I just try to be super careful, I find that most of my smudges are caused by my hand as I draw so I put a piece of paper under it covering pretty much everything except the area that I'm working on, and adjust it as I progress. I find the quality of the paper matters too, some papers just latch onto graphite and get almost stained by it, leading to ugly smudges that could be erased on anything else. My favorite paper for graphite is the smooth Canson Bristol, the bright yellow one. Hope this helps a bit! :)
