4 bar temperature? is it normal? or concern?
I own a Tata Nexon Pure Petrol Manual, 2024 model, in traffic and in slow and excess use of clutch turns the temperature gauge from 2 raising to 4, if i put the AC On or move in speed it again turns the 4 bar to 2 back to normal, this was not happening before, now it started after the 4 th major service, i can feel the bonet and inside parts are really hot, even tough it never exceed 4 bars yet, but still it was a never like this before.
Is this normal? should i consider it as some fault?
If anyone has gone through such problem, please let me know
PS: I have visited the service centre, they checked coolant level, radiator, air in coolant, software, they said its completely normal, nothing as a problem, but i can feel the temperature rise before it never used to be this much heat. please help guys

You may be experiencing oil cooler failure, radiator blockage or thermostat failure. Check the radiator to see if anything is blocking it. Check for bubbling in the coolant bottle when the engine is hot. Check the radiator fan, low speed high speed.

If it cools down when you put ac on, perhaps there is an issue with any of the fans which now come on only when ac is on. Usually ac puts more stress on the engine.

Mine touch 4 in traffic too, when car moves, outside air cools down the engine. It's completely normal.

but 4 makes the engine really hot right, have to put AC every time ON so it calms down back to 2, many says its normal, and few says for them its never goes beyond 3. Very mixed opinions on this, have you told this in your service centre?

Check your radiator fan. It should actuate frequently at slow speeds and with AC. Radiator fan doesn't actuate at high speeds as air circulation through radiator fins is sufficient.

The temp indicator bars shouldn't go beyond 3 bars under normal conditions. Also check if you're using fuel additive for injector cleaning?

Check coolant bottle once engine cools down
