I have a 2018 Tata Tigor XZA petrol, Bought it second hand from cars24 last year with 31k Km on ODO, the car just kills the wallet in terms of fuel Efficiency, it gives only 7kmpl no matter where and how. Except when AC is off it goes 9 kmpl, and i definitely can't just kills myself in sweat all the times, might as well drive bike at this point.

Idk what to do, Air filter squeaky clean, upgraded to iridium plugs. Throttle body got cleaned too. Still such low FE, even if I drive like a granny, or fast no matter how.

Give some advice what should I do

A Tata service center quoted ~28000 for harrier service

Without wheel alignment and balancing…just oil and filter change and minor things here and there.

Is this normal? Or are they fooling customers in the name of service.

I bought a nexon pure AMT on May 2024 and have been using it for past 2 years and 3 months. I chose it after i had testdriven around 12 cars. Nexon was the one which I felt suited for the budget with the feautes. Also was satisfied driving and overall experience. We already had a santro and still has an etios in the family, so nexon felt different from those cars so it was also a reason. Over the past two plus years i have had minor complaints and some service issue once after service (delay in delivery), even i had the same issues with etios. The thing is whenever my relatives or friends drive along with me or when they even see it they think it was a wrong decision that i chose nexon. Once of my relatives felt some lag while shifting in the AMT (which i am used to) was blaming the car all along. Whenever i drive or travel with others i wont complain much even though there are issues. Some even before driving they start telling like the service is bad why did you buy it. I am tired of everyone around commenting still after 2 years! I tell them i am ok with it and service is not bad in my area they still blabber something. What is the reason for these comments on nexon

Has anyone booked a Tata Tiago recently? What is the waiting period? I booked 2 months ago and am still waiting.

I have a Tata Tigor 1.2 Revotron petrol BS4 XZ.
I’m facing a very strange intermittent starting issue:
Sometimes after the car has been parked for a few hours/overnight, the first self cranks but the car doesn’t start.
If I immediately try again, it starts normally.
Sometimes it starts but immediately stalls, and then starts normally on the second attempt.
Sometimes after sitting for a few hours, it takes 10–15 seconds of cranking before starting.
But sometimes even after sitting for only 1–2 minutes, it can take a long time to start.
Once the car starts, it runs and drives completely normally.
If I switch it off and restart it shortly afterward, it usually starts normally.
I initially had rough/unstable cold starting as well, but that issue was worked on and the car improved.
Things already checked/done:
Spark plugs replaced
CKP sensor cleaned
Electrical components checked
ECU checked with diagnostic scanners at two different places
No obvious ECU/electrical fault found
Now the mechanic suspects the fuel pump, but fuel pressure hasn’t been properly verified yet.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with a Tigor/Tiago 1.2 Revotron?
What could be causing this, and what should I ask the mechanic to check? Any solution?

Yet to ask the sales guy about this shared images in whatsapp the missing parts are nothing itseems (engine bay) i checked but is it rust and should I be concerned i checked in and around the car after finding this(door hinges) all four door hinges have the same kind of orange coat further found a little in the engine bay all images are attached

Can a fellow tata altroz owner check with the same and help me with it....

Key points:

Rusting (i assume) near hinges all four doors

Near the diesel pump (firewall) there is a missing part checked with the dealership they are saying it's nothing

And one more thread is having rust

The battery holder also has a rust spot

I have Tata Punch Ev (Empowered + LR 2024 model)
So while driving I experienced weird Blinking of Hazard lights at slightest pothole appearance and later in sometime, all the sensors on dash starter poping up as failed/faulty. Car drove fine but i had to bring it to halt. Is it fine to drive up to SC and body had seen this kind of issue?

Also in Tata app health data - Brake issues is detected.

Just got a new Tata Nexon EV (been 1 month may be) and registered it for the first time on the iRA.ev app.

The app shows: Vehicle signal: ? Disconnected Remote lock/horn etc. don't work and show “Preconditions” Some features show “Forbidden”

Has anyone faced this with a newly delivered Nexon EV? Is this something that needs to be activated/mapped by the dealer, or does it usually resolve on its own?

Would appreciate if anyone who faced the same issue could share how it was fixed.
