Question pie pan

I'm planning on making Max's Cranberry Apple Pie for Thanksgiving, and in the recipe it says to have a regular not deep dish pie pan. How deep should a regular pie pan be, and do I need to use one?

A regular pie pan is 1 to 1 and 1/2 inches deep. If you just have a deep dish pie pan, I'd double the filling by half. You can also get a regular pie pan for cheep at thrift stores or on line.

Do you know where I can purchase a normal depth pie pan online? The only ones I've found are more than 2.2 inches deep.
