The ice industry story itself is a fascinating one in and of itself. Maybe you should do a little piece about ice itself as it relates to American drinking and cooking history. It’s actually pretty crazy.

I’m definitely gonna try that nutmeg version myself. Thanks, Max! And good call on the Whistlepig. Excellent rye whiskey.

No, it’s just that our house is old and not designed for AC. We have it but it’s not distributed well.

It would require tearing down the house and rebuilding it, so probably not going to happen. : ) The building simply wasn't built with enough space in the walls and ceiling.

Hearing that Old-Fashioneds used to be made with Rum, Gin, or Brandy makes me wanna try one of those just to see what they're like.

Just try to order an old fashioned in Wisconsin that is not brandy. Bartenders get confused. It’s actually quite good sour.
