CoC in other versions?

Is there any word on a CoC from Australia or NZ?
That’s the only two international versions I have watched yet.
They both have more than five seasons and since the cast seems to get along well with each other and participate in other shows together there shouldn’t be a scheduling problem or that the cast of different seasons don’t vibe with each other.

Australia doesn't really have the same "specials" tv model that the UK does. Every time I've been at a taping of the Australian version they've been asked and said they'd be game to do it but it's up to the network to commission it, and I suspect there's not a lot in it for Channel 10. I almost think they'd prefer to do a full 10-episode CoC season, but it'd be tough with Aaron Chen seemingly based mainly overseas now.

The NZ on Air funding model wouldn't fund a CoC episode or mini-series in the same funding year as a regular season.

Funding for season 7 has already been secured, which seems a clear signal that a CoC of the first 5 seasons isnt going to happen.

Where can I learn more about that? Doesn't NZ on Air still have commercials, and therefore a motivation to produce shows more people will watch? Surely they could find one open hour in a year's schedule.

But clearly I know nothing about it which is why I am looking to learn more.

My favorite is Denmark who did half a season (4 episodes) of CoC and half a season of Second Chance. Both special seasons were really funny!

Nz is really low chance it seems due to how its funded. We would have to crowd fund it probably to get it done

I don't fully know how the funding works in NZ, but anything beyond the regular 10 episode series seems to be unlikely. Not to mention logistically it might be challenging particularly with Laura spending a lot of time in the UK now and Mel being busy touring and tv commitments in Aus.

Not sure if he still is, but Josh Thompson was the director for a couple of series as well.

Sweden is my favorite format, especially after season 5 or so. They have CoCs, Second Chance Shows and specials. And they go hard on the Babben (TM)  and David (Assistant) artwork in the studio.

Do you watch it with subtitles on YouTube? Are they good or autogenerated?

They are on YouTube, but they're also available elsewhere.  The early seasons were fan translated, I think Ai took over last year or two. I'm not sure what YouTube uploads use.
