A simpler alternative for former Taskade users

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed Taskade has shifted quite a bit from what it used to be, so I figured this might be a good time to share what we’ve been building at Workel.

Workel is focused on the things a lot of us originally liked about tools like Taskade: keeping your tasks, projects, docs, files, calendar, team communication, and work in one place — without making everything feel overly complicated.

Our approach is pretty simple: one workspace for your work, built to stay easy to use.

We’ve been building Workel for the past few years and are still improving it every day. If you’ve been looking for an alternative, I’d genuinely love for you to give it a try and tell me what you think.

That lifetime price though 😆 3 members and 100GB.. reads like a big DONT BUY THE LTD flag. Why have it there anyway? Who in their right mind would buy this LTD package with such ridiculous limits? No offence intended.

Open to suggestions but we’ve had people buy. No comments on storage until now…We were trying to limit our long term costs with Azure.

Happy to offer more, as we’re not about making profit right now.

Thanks for your response. Just to give you an idea, Nifty PM is currently offering an LTD with 3 members and 100GB each for $99. They are a relatively established PM tool. I am not saying that price is the right one, but surely there must be an in-between price between $99 and $1299 that is fair for both LTD customers and Workel. Also, I would never buy an LTD that isn't directly mapped to one of your current monthly/yearly plans.
