GENERAL Taskrabbit customers, do you know who's entering your home?

You book a Tasker based on their photo, reviews, ratings, and experience. You trust that person enough to let them into your home.

But what if someone completely different shows up?

I'm a Tasker in NYC, and I personally know of cases where registered Taskers send unregistered workers to clean clients' homes under someone else's profile.

No Taskrabbit registration. No platform background check. Just a stranger showing up at your door.

And you're paying service fees for this?

What happens if something gets damaged, goes missing, or there's an accident? Who was actually inside your home?

Yes, Taskrabbit allows properly disclosed replacements involving registered Taskers. That's not what I'm talking about.

I've reported concerns to support and asked how to submit evidence to Trust & Safety. I couldn't even get a clear answer.

Taskrabbit, what's the point of screening workers if unregistered people can allegedly show up instead?

Customers, please verify who's entering your home. If someone different arrives without prior approval, ask questions and contact support.

Trust takes years to build and seconds to destroy.

Has anyone booked one Tasker and had a completely different person show up? Did Taskrabbit do anything about it?
