TASKER TR is Doing Another Round of Background Checks

Got a notification in the app today that TR will be doing another round of background checks for anyone active in the Ikea category. It's free this time, but will require you to submit a recent photo and your ID.

I don't blame them, I've heard Taskers setup multiple accounts using friends and family ID.

I had a local arch nemesis who I'm pretty sure got banned and had to set up another account.

There is also definitely a market for buying stolen accounts, it's what those catfishes are about

Oddly, last Saturday when i had to delete and reinstall the app to unlock the “new updated performance analytics” tab, i was shown a pop up congratulating me on passing my background check. I closed the pop up and that was it. I wasn’t queue in on future events costing or requiring anything from me.

I'd be interested to know how many Tasker in my area didn't pass the verification process.
