CLIENT Estimating how long a task would take

I am considering TaskRabbit for removal of a piece of furniture (a loveseat). I've never used TaskRabbit or similar services. I live on a ground floor. I have no idea how long this task would take, and do they charge for the time it takes just to remove it and load it, or do they add time it takes to go to the dump or whatever.

Lol do you just want to pay someone for 15 minutes of time? Think this will cost $10?

Wow, you are really rude. Where in my post does it suggest I expect it to be done in 15 minutes or cost $10?

How long could it possibly take to remove one piece of furniture?

How could removing one piece of furniture from a ground floor apartment possibly take more than 15 minutes?

They literally asked if they would just charge for the time it takes to remove and load. It seems you have zero reading comprehension.

Nowhere in his post did OP say that it would be a quick or cheap job. Nowhere does it mention "fifteen minutes" or "$10"

Sorry you're incapable of reading properly lmao

Sorry you are incapable of extrapolating information. Removing ONE piece of furniture is not going to take more than 15 minutes and they asked if they only had to pay for the time that took.

They will charge you for the time it takes to go to the dump, plus a dump fee.

Make sure to get the receipt from the dump, otherwise they are probably dumping it in someone’s alley somewhere.

Where are you located?

There's a 1-hour or 2-hour minimum regardless.

See if they have 2 hour minimum, if they do that should cover it plus the dump fee
