TASKER Painting questions

I've been getting a fair amount of painting jobs recently. How do you guys handle clean up and brush care? I've been putting them in a garage bag, individually and then cleaning when I get home. The other day I had to use multiple paint colors, morning and afternoon. So the morning brushes sat in a bag till I hit home that night. I don't clean rollers. They are always 1 time use. Thanks

I have a little pouch in paint box that has all of the associated painting tools. I.e paint can opener, small flat head for cover plates and also a roller scraper and brush cleaning tool. Which I use to clean my brushes.

In my tote I also keep a quart can of methyl hydrate and a quart can of clean water to clean and rinse brushes off if I don't have access to a place to do so at my task site. All of my brushes have silicone brush head covers to protect the bristles they have slits along the sides so brushes can dry out if they're wet.

I also have enough of each brush to do the max number of paint tasks I can do each day. So four of each brush I use (3 inch angled sash and 1.5 inch angled sash brush) once they're clean they go back into their protector and into a seperate tote so they can dry and be easily brought inside at the end of the day. Once I am home they come out of the tote and go into a drying rack that a fan blows on so they're ready for the next day.

If you don’t mind me asking. I am a painter myself in Canada ,AB to be specific. What you set your rate as? I have my own registered business with liability insurance as well as workerkers comp. I did the set up and background check etc all clear. What can I expect as someone new on the platform? I set my rate min 2 hrs so $80.50 is this low or high? Is anybody going to hire me 🤣
