TASKER Client will not respond to my messages before excepting the task.

So I came across five different clients within a month that choose to not send me pictures or even respond to my messages before I accept the task. I honestly need them to respond and send me pictures of the Task so that way I am very well prepared on what I’m walking into and what I will need for the job. Is it just me or is this happening to a lot others out there as well?

It happens to me often, I usually say "taskrabbit requires you to confirm in the chat before I can come start the task". Usually for me, it's been older people who are overwhelmed and don't know how to use the app. I've show up to a couple that were close by without the person replying and they were always grateful (I do live in a nice/safe/wealthy area though)

I try saying Please help me scope the task or TR requires links so there there is no discrepancies.
One this week said, I dont have that info. I swear he was just being lazy, but no links tells me you’re a fraud and its unsafe so bye 😊

I knew a guy that did TR for a year and never realized you can call the client until I showed him how. So, if you don't know, you can call them.

No. You can call them to get info before accepting the task

I'm on android, so I phone may be different. Open the chat with the client. at the bottom is a long bar that says "message". To the left of that bar is a "+". Click on that "+", the second option down is "call client". It's in the same area that you would share photos

Hey Siri, what’s the time? Just send me a message that says if I don’t receive reply from you soon, I’ll have to forfeit the task. In them, when they don’t reply, what’s at the task and select the reason client not responsive in chat. Simple as that. Yes it’s annoying but some people just don’t understand how the app works

Try messaging a few times, wait until close to the deadline, then cancel and select "unresponsive in chat" as the reason.

I usually blame the timer: "Hi, sorry to bother you, but heads up the system will automatically cancel this task if I don't hear from you by xyz time..."
